2020 was an anomaly for number of trips, as COVID-19 remote working and remote learning lead to higher-than-normal lake activity and, thus. more boating damage to buoys. 2021 returned to a normal number of yearly trips.
Thanks to our Buoy Program team who contributed more than 465 volunteer hours.
The Buoy Program is the largest expense item for LMRA. Costs include: pontoon work boat, insurance, fuel, maintenance, buoys, stainless steel cable, strobe lights, tools, labels, safety equipment, GPS depth finder and software licensing, etc.
